Service Description

These workshops consist of four Sunday sessions between April and May. Practitioners have the freedom of joining classes separately. Yoga is a mind-body-spirit system designed to help the practitioner discover their true self. Yoga teaches you to go beyond your body, beyond what your mind is thinking, so that your truest self emerges. You are no longer preoccupied with distractions. When the mind is clear, the mental practice of yoga is designed to help the you experience a peaceful self awareness. The yoga theories and traditions that I teach provide a path towards liberation of obstacles called Maya and help you achieve the goal of transcendence called Moksha. The four sessions of this Workshop are: Session #1: April 16 - The Beginning. Understanding Jiva (current incarnation, physical life) and the 5 Kosha sheaths of energy. Session #2: April 30 - Maya (illusion) and the 3 Gunas. Qualities of the physical world. Session #3: May 7 - Moksha (liberation), Prakriti (nature) and Purusha (the Self). The Yamas and Niyamas 'moral codes'. Session #4: May 21 - Meditation and The Subtle Body. Exploring the Chakra energy centers. ​-The workshops are taught in person and open to all. -The workshops are limited engagements only (not taught every week or month). -Topics will be are subject to change. -Seating is limited so pre-registration is required. TERMS: 1. All students must book online and full payment for the series is due upon booking to hold your spot. There will be no refunds. 2. All participants are required to wear a mask and show proof of vaccination upon entry at this time.
